17^th – 25^th September  Archaeological Festival in Biskupin

This year Festival will be organized – like the previous ones – within the reserve area of Archaeological Museum in Biskupin. The visitors will have a unique opportunity to learn to know a culture and history of the ancient Greece, one of the most important sources of European civilization.
You will see performances of the classical theatre, presentations of Greek fashion, hairstyes, make-up, jewellery and much more. The Olympic games with many sport competitions of the Classical Period should arouse a vivid interest of guests. Hoplites, famous Greek warriors, will present arming and combat techniques.
During Festival time will be special exhibition in the Museum pavilion and many events, shows, presentations, workshops, competitions. They will show high level of Greek classical civilization, mysteries of the past, wealth of spiritual beliefs, strategies of great battles and achievements of Greek rulers.
